Finally got our Eggmobile done (well sort of) and got the hens out to pasture yesterday. Check the pictures out below.

Would like to thank Raymon Eikenberry for donating the running gear for the trailer. We put hard wire 1/2″ mesh down in the center of the floor, with the roost area right above (hoping most of the poop will drop thru fertilizing the pasture and leaving us with less clean up).

The main purpose of having the “Eggmobile” is to produce a superior egg! By moving the eggmobile daily the hens have access to fresh grass, plus the manure is great for the pasture. Pasture eggs our superior in many ways including having less bad cholesterol and having more vitamins.
